Holden Clough will have different creative stations…think fun crafts, bug hunts and snail races, colouring & pebble painting competitions, seed planting, treasure hunts and more…
The Reading Room will be offering…
Yummy warm waffles with a selection of toppings – Monday 26th- Thursday 29th August.
‘Know Your Veggies’ workshop - Wednesday 28th & Thursday 29th between 10-12pm.
This fun, interactive drop-in workshop allows children to get up close with all different kinds of vegetables and fruits, from the every day like carrots to others they may not yet be familiar with. Natasha from the Reading Room has run these sessions previously to a huge success.
Their ‘Children eat for £1’ offer will also be running until Saturday 31st.
As well as our own stalls, there will be local creatives coming in for other workshops too…

Monday 26th August:
Holden Clough creative stations.
Hogglypots: Local children's book author and illustrator, Andy Edwardson, will be sharing his stories and leading a fun illustration workshop. Children will have the opportunity to learn drawing techniques, create their artwork, and make badges to take home. They will also offering their new butterfly & nature-themed colouring and activity book. It is a delightful combination of creativity and learning.
Floss & Thread stall: Offering handmade peg doll collectibles, decorations, and gifts.
Face Painting - 10am-1pm. From the talented Facepainting by Charlotte Hacking. What or who will your little one choose to be, or become!? - chargeable

Pip Cottage Willow Workshop – Create a willow star, fish or crown with the lovely Julie from Pip cottage. You may have attended one of her popular willow-weaving adult workshops at the nursery or seen her incredible works at one of our artisan markets. Here she offers her skills to the little ones. - £2/£3
‘Wobbel’ Yoga Sessions - Join the lovely Georgie from Buddha Bears for these fun, interactive, yoga sessions for children ages 18mnths - 8years. Free -Limited Spaces - More Info & Booking
Pud Puds - A small family business from Preston specialising in delicious buttercream flower cakes that can be bought individually or displayed in a bouquet style for gifts (a real wow factor!) – chargeable
