Full-Day Glass Fusing Workshop

Sunday 4th May, 10.00 am - 16.00 pm

£90

Join Angela from Settle Glass Studio for a fun and creative half-day workshop where you’ll explore the art of fused glass.

What you’ll learn

· An introduction to fused glass techniques, tools, and materials

· Cutting, layering, and assembling your composition before firing

· How to design and arrange glass pieces to create depth and texture

· Tips for adding details using frits, stringers and inclusions

What you’ll make

In the morning, you will make two smaller items (eg, Lightcatcher, tealight, card etc.) from a selection of designs. Followed by a larger piece (eg, candle curve, framed picture etc.) in the afternoon.

No previous experience required; it’s a chance to come along and be guided through the process, and have some fun along the way!

Alternatively, if you have some prior experience of glass fusing, it is an ideal opportunity to come along and work on a piece of your choice (please message Angela prior to the workshop to discuss your ideas).

The price includes all materials and kiln firing of your pieces.

Your finished artwork will be fired and ready for collection approximately two weeks after the workshop. Alternatively, pieces can be posted for an additional charge.
