We will be holding the workshop upstairs in the beautiful ‘Potting Shed’. Please note that access to The Potting Shed is via a staircase.
Don’t forget to bring your reading glasses if you use them.
Refreshments, coffee and teas are available to buy from The Reading Room Kitchen.
About the host…
Working from her home in Ramsbottom, Karen uses traditional knotting techniques to create a range of modern, decorative, and functional pieces for the home and for individuals. A self-taught macrame creator and weaver, Karen uses recycled cord which has been created, without the use of dyes or water, from cotton textile waste. See Bobbiny.com’s recycling page.
Where possible, the addition of recycled items such as curtain rings, driftwood, and hag stones further enhance the sustainability of her products.
During the week, you can find Karen working in a primary school, and additionally, since 2023, Karen has been using this teaching knowledge to deliver macrame workshops to adults in Lancashire. Find Karen on instagram @knotsandrocks_
