Join us at The Nursery for this fabulous new wine & local cheese tasting workshop…
Led by Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Educator, Maureen Little, who will present five specially selected wines from around the world – red, white, and rosé – each expertly paired with a cheese made right here in Lancashire.
Maureen will show you how to taste the wines, paying attention to the aroma, the swirl, the flavours, the body, the feel in the mouth, and the finish.
Then, you’ll be able to see how the flavours develop and change on the palate, after a nibble of delicious cheese.
No previous experience is necessary – just come along and enjoy!
About the Host
As well as a gardening author, Maureen is also a keen oenophile. So much so that when she was working for a local wine company, she achieved Level 3 in Wines at the WSET in London. She went on to become a qualified Educator and taught Levels 1 and 2 of the WSET Wine Courses.
